Job Description:

A highly technical team is looking for a SQL DBA to join their growing/dynamic and extremely successful organisation. As the DBA lead you will be responsible for daily management and oversight of the databases including maintaining security, working with system administrators on setting up new environments and troubleshooting existing environments as well as advise on architecture & design of database objects relating to projects, your investment/financial/hedge funds and capital markets knowledge will guarantee you a place with this tech savvy bunch.

Qualification:

A recognized and relevant Bcom/Bsc/BEng university degree, preferably in Comp Sci and/or Information Systems.

Skills & Experience:

• Solid, +5 years’ commercial experience, preferably in the financial sector as a MS SQL Developer or DBA
• Experience in leading and managing small teams
• Favourable additional skills: PowerShell scripting, C# .Net, RedGate, SSRS, Git
