Stock Controller

Company based in Silverton is looking for an experienced and professional stock controller to join our organization.

The stock controller will be responsible for maintaining the supply and demand of inventory, and ensuring that there are adequate stocks available. The stock controller will also ensure stock purchasing, delivery and shipping confirmations, and manage inventory balances. The ideal candidate will be able to keep a complete and detailed database of inventory and and supply documentation, but will also be on the ground floor of receiving to personally inspect and confirm supply quality and delivery.

Desired Experience and Qualification:
• High school degree or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in business or related field a plus.
• Four (4) years’ experience as a stock controller, store supervisor, or related position.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and SAGE Pastel Evolution System.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Goal-oriented, organized team player.
• Accurate and precise attention to detail.
• Able to analyse problems and strategize for better solutions.
• Good interpersonal skills to work with management and staff at all levels.
