STOCK PLANNING, PROCUREMENT & CO-ORDINATION MANAGER

The role is for a manufacturer of meat products for suppliers in national and international markets.

Some Duties and responsibilities will include:

Stock Planning
- Forecast required raw materials needing to be procured based on historical consumption, lead times for orders, and minimum stock holding quantities, to ensure all sites have the stock they need, when they need it, to meet all sales orders on time, and in full.
- Ensure that Cold Store Fees are minimised by avoiding over ordering, through proper planning and ensuring sites are holding the maximum amount of stock they can.
- Ensure that potential stock shortages are identified as early as possible to avoid paying higher prices for stock due to not identifying shortages sooner.
Stock Procurement
- Source multiple quotes from multiple suppliers for all Meat, Dry Goods and Packaging for Anchor & Atlantic, and procure said stock.
- Make sure we pay the best prices in the market for all products, dry goods and packaging purchased.
- Ensure that stock is sourced only from approved suppliers.
Stock Co-ordination
- Maximise logistical efficiency by storing product in the most convenient, cost effective location on a site-by-site basis.
- Arrange collections from cold storages.

Requirements to be met:
- Minimum 3 Years + Relevant experience with strong retail experience
- Matric with relevant qualification
- Excellent Communication & Interpersonal skills
- Strong administrative, planning & Coordination skills
