Job Title: STOREMAN (GGS 6)
Reports to: BRANCH MANAGER
Main Responsibilities
This refers to the main area of responsibility – the input activities that render the highest impact on expected job output. Please ensure that every activity/responsibility relates to a relevant job output.

• Take full responsibility of the stores function within the branch
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of its staff
• Monitor stock in transit and ensure no unauthorised stock movements are initiated to your store location
• Monitor One-Step movements into your branch on a weekly basis and report on discrepancies
• Review the weekly SAP generated stock order and adjust as needed
• Source stock from head office or other branches as additional demand arises
• Resolve stock queries from clients – reconcile stock on SAP, stock couriered and resolve queries
• Create a physical stock count
• Enter physical stock count
• Post physical stock count
• Report on discrepancies encountered during stock counts
• Monitor stock levels and propose new safety stock levels based on sales performance to minimise stock outs

Main Purpose

Provide a reliable and efficient delivery service to distributors and customers to enhance the service aspect of the branch.

• Methodical, good attention to detail • SAP transactions: MB5T – stock in transit; MB51 – 301 stock movements; ME57; ME21N; VL108; VL02N; MMBE; MI01; MI04; MI07; MB51 – 701 & 702 stock movements; MD04
• MS Office (Excel & Outlook)

Required Qualifications / Experience
• Matric with at least 2-3 years’ experience at a Storeman I level
• Ability to supervise and co-ordinate Stores activities within the branch
• Working knowledge of SAP, Excel and Microsoft Outlook
