Strategic & Operational IT Manager

The Strategic and Operational IT Manager will be responsible and accountable for the smooth running of our IT Department within the limits of requirements, specifications, costs and timelines. You will supervise the implementation and maintenance of our company’s IT needs.

Responsibilities
Supervising the roll out of IT projects by assigning and prioritizing tasks to be performed within the IT Department;
Serve as the consultant to top management when it comes to developing and applying information technology policy and standards;
Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time;
Audit systems and assess their outcomes;
Maintain assets, information security and control structures;
Ensure security and accuracy of data;
Ensure network access and backup systems are in place and secure.

Requirements

Proven working experience as an IT manager or relevant experience;
Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation;
Ability to manage personnel;
Excellent knowledge in software development, quality control, security, and knowledge assurance and training of internal personnel;
a structured individual that is a self-starter that does not require micro-management;
Expertise in project management
