Our client a leader in the retail industry is looking for a Tax Accountant that has experience with international tax related environment.

Key performance areas:

? Calculation and preparation of the non-RSA group companies' tax returns including preparation of provisional tax returns.
? Interim and group tax reporting in terms of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
? Dealing with tax advisors and auditors.
? Provide assistance with regard to tax disputes.
? Provide assistance to the non-RSA group companies with regard to any tax queries. Preparation of IT10 returns for controlled foreign companies.
? Transfer pricing contract preparation in conjunction with the legal department.

The successful candidate must have:

? Must have matric and be a qualified CA(SA) with an interest in tax
? A tax qualification or tax accounting experience will be advantageous
? Must have previous experience in an International tax-related environment
? Must have previous experience in an Accounting firm with exposure to different clients International tax experience in a multi-national company
? Excellent computer literacy skills (Excel, SAP and SAP BPC skills.)
? Must have attention to detail and be deadline-driven
? Being fluent in Portuguese will be an advantage
? Occasional travel may be required.
