Job Description:

We are actively searching for a Technical Assistant at the TGIS Helpdesk for IMIS who is willing to learn and grow within the company. As Technical assistant you will play a crucial role in providing technical support and assistance to clients using our Integrated Management Information System

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide first-line technical support to clients via phone, email, or helpdesk ticketing system.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to the IMIS platform.
- Guide users on system functionalities, best practices, and troubleshooting steps.
- Collaborate with the technical team to escalate and resolve complex issues.
- Document helpdesk interactions, technical solutions, and user feedback.
- Assist in testing software updates, patches, and new features before deployment.
- Contribute to knowledge base articles and training materials for users.
- Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism at all times.
- Willing to be available after hours and over weekends for standby and support.

Qualifications and skillset:

- Tertiary Qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
- Proven experience in technical support, helpdesk operations, or IT customer service.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Familiarity with database management, software troubleshooting, and system configurations.
- Knowledge of GIS software and applications is advantageous.
- Certification in relevant technical fields (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional) is preferred (Not compulsory)
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-oriented approach.

Salary: Negotiable (based on knowledge and experience)
