Technical Sales Representative, Secunda - Ref: 1090970

An industrial sealing company with a highly inspiring team and a diverse range of products is looking for a Technical Sales Representative to effectively market/sell/secure orders from existing and prospective customers in Mpumalanga.
The ideal candidate will have 5 to 10 years of technical experience along with a technical and sales/marketing qualification.

Position details:

Type: Permanent
Reports to: Branch Sales Manager.
Primary purpose: To achieve maximum sales growth, profitability and penetration within the Mpumalanga market by effectively selling products.

Job description / core competencies:

CUSTOMERS
• Calling on customers in the Mpumalanga / Secunda regions
• Technical sales and product recommendations to customers
• Achieving sales targets set for the area
• Identify and grow key accounts
• Manage sales contribution and increase turnover
• Basic management of large orders from initial purchase order through delivery
ADMINISTRATION
• Weekly/monthly sales reports
• Project management of large orders from initial purchase order to delivery
• Market intelligence and research
• Preparation of quotations
• Implement and oversee supply agreement contracts

• Technical trade/mechanical engineering diploma/degree
