Their Head Office is in Johannesburg, they also have a footprint in the US (New York & New Jersey) and offices in Cape Town and Durban. This geographic diversity allows them to offer 24/7 support and other Managed IT Services to their clients. The main purpose of this role is to provide client support by resolving requests and incidents to ensure optimal infrastructure functionality. This is a 1st level support role.

Please note that this role is based on site and there is shift work involved.

Key Responsibilities
Process client requests and resolve incidents swiftly.
Ensure hardware, desktop, network, app and connectivity functionality.
Collaborate with third party service providers to resolve technical issues.
Functional network and infrastructure knowledge.
Network and infrastructure maintenance.
Ticket closure resolved timeously.
Optimal BSC performance.
Client satisfaction.
Technical Skills
Technical and product knowledge; hardware and software
Technical skills such as Office 365, Servicing certificates, knowledge of and experience with third party service provider products, network connection and -function knowledge.
Knowledge of Active Directory

Familiarity with Azure products and services – Such as virtual machines, storage, networking, and identity management
Knowledge of Azure deployment models – This includes Azure resource manager, Azure Service Management, Azure Virtual Machines
Experience with Azure Admin – This includes managing subscriptions, resource groups, virtual machines, network security groups and access controls.
Knowledge of security and compliance – Solid understanding of Azure security features, controls, compliance requirements and best practices
Familiarity with automation and scripting – Familiarity with scripting tools or languages such as PowerShell, Azure

Minimum Requirements
4 years of support experience
Any IT related qualification
Extensive experience in Hardware, Application and Software understanding
