A well established client within manufacturing is looking for a dynamic, and self disciplined Warehouse Manager to oversee receiving, warehousing and distribution operations. Requirements include efficient receipt, storage, value-adding servicing and dispatch of a wide variety of products as well as ensuring productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly. The successful candidate should have high energy levels, strong attention to detail, able to proactively intervene where required within a highly pressured environment.

Manage warehouse according to Company policies and vision
Supervise receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operation
Ensure space used effectively setting aside storage areas for new stock
Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements
Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies, receive feedback and monitor quality of services provided
Processing orders and planning the dispatching of products
Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc)
Prepare annual budget

Minimum Requirements
Proven 3 years work experience as a warehouse manager
Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
SYSPRO experience advantageous
Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
Leadership skills and ability manage staff
Strong decision making and problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills
Drivers License
