We're seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager - Permanent Position - Germiston (Gauteng) who will head up the Warehouse Department. We are looking for an organized warehouse manager to supervise the receipt, picking, and storage of parts in our warehouse.
To ensure success you need to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and perform your duties in a manner that maximizes profits. To be dedicated, competent, and have strong leadership skills.

Duties & Responsibilities
Enhance or maintain best warehousing practices to ensure all incoming and outgoing inventory is efficiently processed according to schedule.
Establish or Maintain warehouse standard operating practices and protocols to achieve optimum efficiency in the warehouse.
Drive workplace performance by establishing and reporting on suitable warehousing KPI’s.
Monitor & ensure compliance with safety standards.
Ensure controls are enforced to minimize stock losses.
Audit and report on stock holding while making recommendations on which items to order and restock.
Maintain the physical condition of the warehouse by enforcing housekeeping standards and ensuring repairs are reported and resolved.
Manage a Team of 4 Warehouse Team Managers, monitoring work outputs and deliverables while providing guidance and correction as needed.
Set warehouse and team goals in collaboration with Operations Officer • Communicate and collaborate with other departments to ensure customer expectations are met. • Warehouse Space planning and optimization

Desired Experience & Qualification
Diploma / Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or Warehousing
10+ Years of Warehouse Management Experience in a similar sized facility
10+ Years of Warehouse Team Management Experience
SAP Experience or any ERP system
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
MUST have managed larger teams and be familiar with the full end to end of warehousing.
Superior verbal & written communication skills
Fluency in English & Zulu (preferred)
Superior Problem solving and logical reasoning skills.
Superior Numerical Skills
Solid Computer Literacy with excellent Excel knowledge and abilities
