Job Description

Maintain operations margin percentages and maximise profitability
Create reports on waste or cut off management
Ensure all subordinates are productive at all times and that all staff requirements are met
Alleviate backlogs / bottlenecks
Supervise and motivate teams
Met all legal obligations with regards to Health and Safety
Ensure all jobs are completed to client’s satisfaction
Ensure stock is scanned, loaded and delivered timeously and that all delivery routes are established properly
Occasionally assist the sales staff
Liaise with the WIP Supervisor to ensure prioritization of the correct orders
General admin or filing
Ensure job cards and delivery notes are taken back to the Sales team
Establish the human resources materials needed
Ensure materials are being profiled properly
Negotiate the best pricing and quality of goods
Time management of work hours and any overtime worked
Manage all warehouse operations
Quarterly stock take
Control coil movement in the warehouse
Regular health and safety inspections within factory and operations to ensure that health regulations are adhered to and met
Maintain odometer and fuel spreadsheets

Minimum Requirements

Grade 12
Courses / exp. In HR Management
Operate roll forming machines, flashing line and cranking machine
2 - 5 years’ exp in a production environment
2 years exp in a supervisory position
Valid driver's license
