The Commercial Division is looking for an individual to assume the position of Water Treatment Assistant reporting to the Water Treatment Manager. The position carries the TASK grade of T05. The job holder must be in possession of an NQF level 4 certificates with technical background and 2-3 years’ experience operating an Effluent plant.

Results Required:

• Conducting continuous effluent water quality control.
• Supervising of staff.
• Minimizing volume of effluent sludge generated without sacrificing effluent water quality.
• Adhere to communicated SOPs which relate to Effluent Plant and the operations thereof.
• 100% adherence to the Time and Attendance procedure.
• Maintaining the Effluent Plant equipment to maximize throughput and minimize downtime
• Assisting in keeping cost of operating the effluent plant as low as possible without sacrificing the effluent water quality
• Adhering to general manufacturing practices for the food environment
• 100% compliance to the Health & Safety system.
