Workshop Foreman - Mining and Construction
Minimum qualification - N4 Mechanical trade test certificate.
Red seal trade test - Earthmoving , diesel mechanic, millwright.
Must have a valid driver's license.
10 years' relevant experience within the Construction industry in the capacity of a foreman role and minimum of 8 years' relevant experience within the Construction industry as an earth moving mechanic.
Must have a valid current fitness certificate, mines issue an advantage.
Legal Liability Training.
Construction Health and Safety Act Legal Appointment

Will supervise mechanical employees to ensure assigned work conforms to quality, time and productivity requirements.
Responsibilities will be to maintain and manage plant on Construction Sites.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
Ensure optimal performance of plant equipment and machinery.
Fault finding, repairs and maintenance of plant equipment and machinery.
Manage Site workshop personnel to perform to the best of there potential.
Manage costs.
Ensure preventative maintenance planned and executed in a cost-effective manner.
Ensure that all breakdowns are attended to in a speedy and efficient manner.
Ensure compliance to operational and legal requirements with regard to Health and Safety.
Conduct plant inspections and monitoring for potential and existing defects.
Identifying and respond to safety hazards.
