Responsibilities:

• Risk Management Control.
• Assist with the general management of the unit
• Provide high quality patient care
• Liaison between patients, doctors and personnel
• Assist with staff training/ orientation in the unit
• Client satisfaction
• The ability to function effectively under pressure

Applicants for this position must:

• Registered with SANC as a Professional Nurse
• A Diploma or Certificate in Paediatric Nursing is essential
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Paediatrics ward
• The ability to mentor staff
• The ability to function well under pressure
• A disposition towards quality and excellent patient care
• Strong leadership and communication skills
