PBT Group has an opportunity for BIP / OBIEE Report Developers for moderately complex report development and analytical work to ensure the uniformity, accuracy, and semantic consistency of enterprise data through the application for effective data management.

Duties:
- Support the development of reports/dashboards using Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE)
- Work closely with the business analysts to design/develop look/feel of reports
- Work with the BA/BSA to ensure functional requirements are met

Skills Required:
- 3+ years of data analysis and/or reporting experience using a OBIEE tool or 5 years with a similar BI reporting tool.
- Strong knowledge of software development methodologies
- Strong SQL writing skill
- Able to demonstrate strong experience with database based applications
- Experience with documenting the reporting and analysis specifications:
:: Perform fit-gap analysis comparing existing reporting solutions with BI strategy and assess compliance with best practices and established standards.
:: Participate in user acceptance testing of new BI reporting systems, upgrades, enhancements and change requests; plan, conduct and document results of testing.
:: Able to demonstrate high level of written and oral presentation skills and proven client-interaction skills
- Thinks creatively and demonstrate the ability to work independently on tasks with little direction, supervision, and management oversight.
- Highly motivated, self-starter, and able to work alone or in groups.
- Experience with Data warehouse design and development including logical and physical data modelling, mapping data elements from various data, as well as the building the reports using BI Publisher.
- Possess a professional background focused on more than just the presentation layer of the OBIEE toolset
- Prior experience directly supporting the reporting aspects of design, development, integration and customization of enterprise BI applications
