The Developer is responsible for translating a technical specification into a working program that meets the specification, within the overall project architecture and standards, within an agreed time limit and agreed level of quality.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Solid development experience in J2EE, Servlets and EJB.
• Solid experience using Web services, XML and other related standards
• Experience in HTML, XHTML, CSS, JSP and JavaScript
• Exposure to Eclipse, JAVA, J2EE, JAVA SWING, JBPM, JBOSS, PostGreSQL and ANT
• Have had exposure to mainstream Open Source products such as Log4J, and Junit
• Exposure to OO Concepts and Programming
• Exposure to UML
• Experience in C programming would be beneficial
• Understand design and coding patterns
• Good understanding of GUI development best practices
• Understanding of system design concepts and policies
• Exposure to Systems Architecture would be beneficial
• Exposure to Linux and Windows environments
• A solid experience working in a multi-disciplinary team environment, fostering collaboration and teamwork
