*Requirements/Skills
Minimum 4+ years' experience of hydroponic farming experience including 2 years' of farm management experience
Have a commitment to, and enjoyment of, working with diverse nationalities.
Work well in a collaborative and team environment
Have a positive, enthusiastic, and supportive attitude
Have excellent communication skills
Be self-motivated and hard working
The supervisor will be in charge of planting, growing, harvesting, processing, packaging and delivering all produce grown on the property. Must be entrepreneurial, passionate and responsible.
Responsibilities
*Supervision and guidance of the staff assigned to the project
*Coordination with staff
*Supervision and coordination of workers on the Farm
*Yearly yield plans
*Seed ordering and material acquisition
*Greenhouse management and plant propagation
*Planning and implementation of weekly schedule for greenhouse and field seeding and
transplanting
*Insect and weed control, soil; and water fertility monitoring, and general field observation
*Cultivation activities, hand and machine-powered equipment
*Infrastructure planning, creation and maintenance
*Irrigation planning and implementation
*On site soil-building program including composting
*Harvest, marketing and delivery
*Plan weekly harvest schedule
*Coordination with Market staff for post-harvest handling, sales and marketing and
distribution
*Assist with Marketing and Outreach efforts of Hydroponic Farm and Products
*Assist with delivery of produce
*Integration of Hydroponic Farm with other company programs where applicable (Special Needs)
*Farm material procurement for Hydroponic Farm and other company programs
*Participate in planning for long-term farm development
*Work with CEO to develop strategies and development of Hydroponic Farm
