Our Client in the Alberton, Johannesburg area is looking for a Access Control/CCTV Technician to join their exceptional team, with great earning and growth potential. They require an individual which is hard working and dedicated.

Job Description:

The selected candidate will provide system administration, configuration management, system maintenance and troubleshooting for LENEL OnGuard security systems. These systems include Access Control, Building Intrusion Detection, Perimeter Intrusion Detection, CCTV and other electronic systems.

The successful candidate MUST have:

Candidate must start on the 1 October 2015!
The technicians need to have experience in Access Control and IP CCTV Camera Installations
Requisite that they have experience in a product called Lenel (that is key)
2 years’ experience in the Lenel Onguard Platform System
Must have at least 2-5 years’ experience in System Administration and the ability to troubleshoot system anomalies and document incidents and repairs. *
Must be able to Operate and Maintain LENEL OnGuard application software.
Must be experienced and certified in the following: Microsoft MS Server 2008.
Matric Grade 12
A relevant Technical Diploma backed by IT networking, hardware and software skills
A Project Management qualification would be advantageous
A minimum of 2 years technical experience, inclusive of Intruder, CCTV, Access Control and Fire Security Installations
Good technical knowledge and experience in Lenel Intruder, CCTV, Access Control and Fire Security Installations
Experience in Job Costing and Project Management would be advantageous
Sound demonstration of Health and Safety compliance, to include site specific requirements, will be advantageous
Customer service experience
Technical Leadership Skills essential
Fleet management experience advantageous
Valid driver’s licence
Computer literate in Microsoft Office
PSIRA Registered
Desired skills:

Currently holds LENEL On-guard certification Background in Security System installation, operation and maintenance. Background CCTV System installation, operation and maintenance.
