Core Purpose of the Job

Account Management through solid understanding of a retail marketing workflow, FMCG operations, development, logistics and the client’s business; manage all aspects of the client’s requirements corporate jobs through the client Integrator System. Communicate problems to all parties and add value to the business by identifying client need and finding solutions to meet those needs.

  • Correctly brief jobs into production and communicating with them on progress of the work
  • To maintain an excellent client relationships through the various divisions in the group
  • To seek additional print / in-store / business through various divisions in the group
  • Correctly briefing jobs into Production via Prism and Integrator software system
  • Ensuring that the printing facility that is most cost-effectively geared for the job is briefed to ensure the H&C group maximises profitability on each job
  • Effectively communicating with client on progress of the work in production
  • Effectively communicating with internal staff as well as third party suppliers on new work that is coming into production and deadlines as set out by the client
  • Streamline / improve the client print processes with production controllers regionally
  • Provide new print solutions and innovative ideas to save client costs as well as maximising our internal profits
  • Process and follow up on invoicing through admin assistant and finance department

Key Performance Indicators

  • A measure of the success would be a satisfied client
  • New work being secured with in the region
  • Working at securing work back from regional print supplier

Nature and Scope of the Job

Account Development:

  • Keep in close contact with Managing Director / Marketing Directors / Retail Operations Director and Marketing managers to inform them of the developments
  • Have daily / weekly progress meetings with various departments to maintain detailed communication
  • Keeping informed of new solutions, systems and techniques within 185 Solutions that will benefit client and achieve higher sales
  • Stay abreast of the clients’ requirements, needs and development within the company and communicate solutions to grow

Communication and Production Workflow Management:

  • Check and send daily status reports to Clients in all divisions and agency, detailing stages and deadlines of every job within the system
  • Provide solutions to client and be involved in the production processes.
  • Advise agencies of new and improved specs and capabilities that could affect and improve artwork and follow through to delivery.

Manage work through 185 Solutions Internal Systems and Admin:

  • Continuously updating the WIP document by ensuring that all active jobs are open with a project number and all elements are linked to that specific project.
  • Use client Integrator to open all jobs

Competencies Required

Knowledge:

  • Relevant Tertiary education in Marketing, Advertising or Retail (Preferable)
  • Strong knowledge of Retail / FMCG / Logistics / Production, promotion workflow
  • Needs to be knowledgeable in the area of creative art work and have a good Marketing awareness
  • Ability to embrace and learn latest technology to improve business tools

Experience:

  • 3- 5 Years in a Key Position
  • At least 3-5 years industry knowledge of Retail / FMCG / Logistics / Production
