Financial Manager

4* Resort Hotel - Drakesberg

Bcompt or similar with further 5 years hotel financial management experience.

The Financial Manager is overall responsible for the financial integrity of the financial packs

for both the Board Meetings as well as for the respective Trustees Meetings.

The Financial Manager will ensure that The Financial affairs are conducted in accordance with

instructions received from the General Manager; whilst highlighting the requirements

in accordance to the Management Contract and Rental Pool Agreements.

Preparation, Review and presentation of an accurate Income Statement

Preparation of detailed Budget including preparation of detailed forecast; Summary page monthly and detailed forecast every quarter.

Preparation of complete, indexed Working Paper file including reconciliations for all Balance Sheet accounts.

Control and monitoring of all monies leaving the hotel, ensure proper authorizations obtained, prior to releasing of funds. Ensure Creditors reconciliations for every supplier, prior to releasing payments.

Ensure proper system of stock control from the placing of orders, right through to the receiving, disbursement and consumption of stock items. Documented stock counts should be done at least monthly. Also monitor of stock rotation i.e. FIFO method to be enforced. Also ensure purchase ratio is maintained i.r.o. Premier Procurement. Feedback discrepancies to the General Manager

Maintenance and control of all contracts. A contract file should be maintained with copies of all signed contract. An updated summary page should be available at all times.

Provide ongoing support from a financial perspective from a financial perspective for the hotel and its employees.

Complete control of cash flow, including cash flow forecast, control of payments, etc.

Salary R31500.00 including accommdation and company benefits.
