Our Manufacturing Client in Somerset West Winelands Helderberg is looking for An Accountant / Bookkeeper with 2-5 years’ experience in the Full

Spectrum up to Trial Balance + Payroll on PASTEL

Salary Negotiable to experience including medical aid and pension

Min Requirements:
• Grade 12
• Relevant accounting qualification
• Minimum 5 years accounting experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Pastel Partner and Pastel Payroll is essential

Job Requirements
Monthly processing:
• Responsible for books up to trial balance on Pastel Partner
• Accurate monthly processing of all financial information
• Monthly bank reconciliations
• Capturing supplier invoices (where applicable)
• Ensuring all supplier TAX invoices meet the specific requirements
• Debtors invoicing (where applicable)
• VAT & Turnover reconciliations
• Preparing monthly management reports for clients
• Submission of VAT201 returns on e-filing and ensure that payment is made
• Assist stakeholders with ad hoc financial queries

Payroll:
• Weekly wages and or monthly salaries processed on Pastel Payroll as per client requirements
• Submission of EMP201 returns on e-filing and ensure that payment is made
• Register new employees for UIF
• Submission of EMP501 on ****@*****.***
• Submission of Workmans Compensation returns

Annual:
• Drafting of Annual Financial Statements for Companies, Close Corporations and Sole Proprietors
• Experience in the calculation and e-filing of basic tax computations would be advantageous.
