One of the country’s leading fruit exporters has a vacancy for an Accountant. This vacancy offers a challenging role to a dynamic individual, who is driven by attention to detail in reporting and motivated by deadlines.

Job Description:

KPA’s will include (but are not limited to) the following essential responsibilities:
* Processing vendor transactions, including resolution of outstanding queries.
* AP vendor recons.
* Accurate and timely GL recons.
* Accurate and timely month-end / period close processes and reporting.
* Accurate and timeous statutory reporting.

Requirements:

* Formal tertiary accounting qualifications with at least 5-10 years’ Accounting work experience – preferably in the fruit and/or agricultural industry.
* Knowledge of the KPA’s mentioned.
* Attention to detail when reporting.
* Good computer software skills (Accpac preferable).
* Good communication and interaction skills with people on all levels in the organization.
* Ability to adhere to strict deadlines.
