A Media Company seeks the services of an Accountant with for an Accountant/Financial Manager
Job Description:
Financial administration, processing and reconciliation
Cash flow forecasting
Payroll management
Financial and payroll reporting
Management and reporting of compliance and regulatory aspects of the business
Customer relationship management
Liaise with suppliers and provide support to external auditors
Leadership training and development including staff supervision, mentorship, training, motivation and guidance
Maintain and improve the internal control environment
Knowledge and application of policies and procedures and good practice
Keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation to ensure compliance
Maintain an effective and efficient operating environment

Ability to have financial control off different businesses

Requirements

B.Comm Accounting Graduate with a minimum three years commercial experience
Media experience an advantage
Experience in managing an overall creditors function
Advanced MS Excel and MS word
Pastel Partner experience a must
Sound knowledge of accounting principles, controls and procedures

Experience with general ledger functions and the month-and/year-end closing procedures
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience in using SAGE/VIP
Strong commercial acumen
