Leading manufacturer based in Boksburg requires an Accountant / Office Manager. Accounting Diploma or Degree and a minimum of 3 – 5 years accounting experience is essential. Standard working hours are 07.30 am to 5.30 pm and NON smoker only.

This position reports directly to the MD.

Duties include –

Total of 14 companies but will manage 2 main companies
Assist and oversee debtors and creditors
Cashbook and general ledger function
Journal entries
Intercompany recons
Monitor cashflow
Assist with budgets
Income statement
Balance sheet recons
Liaise with Auditors and Banks
Track and maintain fixed asset register
All communication with SARS
All statutory recons and returns with SARS (monthly, quarterly and annually)
Attending to all queries with SARS
Advise management on tax strategies
Assist in preparation of monthly reports
Variance reporting including budget vs actual
Completion of quarterly and annual reporting
Prepare for external audits
Oversee company insurances including medical aid
WCA claims
Assist MD in all other areas of the business
