Our Manufacturing Client in Simons Town is looking for an Accountant with 3 years + experience. If you from a manufacturing backround even better, ONLY serious ACCOUNTANTS APPLY!!!!

Qualification

Accounting Degree or Diploma A MUST – NON-NEGOTIABLE
3 -5 +++ years’ experience as a SOLID Accountant
SAGE EVOLUTION Experience an ADDED Advantage But not a deal breaker
Sold Experience in VAT, Management Accounting and Costings

Requirement

Full Accounting
Daily & monthly cash flow management;
Banking and Forex monitoring
Debtors management
Review of all allocations done by the bookkeeper
Income statement reconciliations for all expense accounts, detailing variances between budget and actuals
Market updates to all markets analysing expenses in terms of actuals and budgets every month
Monthly balance sheet reconciliations for ALL balance sheet accounts
Suppliers reconciliations
Maintaining and reconciling fixed assets & goodwill
Monthly reconciling and agreeing of inter-company balances
Journal entries: re-allocations, accruals, prepayments, taxation
Liaison with auditors / bankers / insurers / suppliers
Statutory returns and assistance with tax computations
Documenting internal controls
Assistance with preparation of weekly wages and capturing hours (+- 30 staff)
Maintaining petty cash
Full accounting for one smaller company based off site
