One of our clients, a Johannesburg-based digital agency, requires a full-time accountant to manage its finance and accounting function.

Duties and responsibilities include:
• Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and annual financial statements
• Develop and maintain financial policies and internal controls
• Oversee the annual audit from start to end
• Maintain the general ledger and all relevant balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare and implement budgets, forecasts and forecasted cash flow statements
• Project costing and accounting
• Prepare and submit statutory tax returns including VAT, Employee Tax and provisional income taxes
• Perform administrative duties such as consultations with suppliers, bankers and auditors
• Perform the payroll function
• Invoicing and debtors control

Requirements:
• Education: Bcom
• Experience: At least 3 years
• Pastel Evolution & Payroll
