Accountant

Fast-growing e-commerce enterprise requires an Accountant to take charge of financial recording and general finance administration

High level job description:
• Take responsibility for all accounting and financial administration for the company
• Monthly management reporting – including group reporting, management account preparation, monthly reconciliations and accounting
• Payroll administration
• Debtors & Creditors administration
• Payments administration
• VAT Returns and Recons
• Balance Sheet Recons
• Draft Annual Financial Statements

Job requirements:
• Finance degree or diploma
• 4 years of working experience within the Accounting and Finance function, physically performing accounting activities (Reconciliations, journal entries, data uploads and matching)
• Comprehensive understanding financial process, daily finance tasks, reconciliations and accounting entries
• Proficiency with SARS filings and basic tax administration – VAT, Income Tax;
• Payroll administration

Remuneration: R24k per month
