Our client in the Southern Suburbs are looking for an Accountant with the following qualifications and experience:

Qualification and experience Pre-requisite:
• MS office, especially excel. Pastel will be an advantage.

Accounts Payable
• Complete creditors function
• Calculation and payment of VAT and payment of other SARS returns
• Payment of all 3rd parties (Garnishees, PAYE, SDL, UIF, Pension, Fund Levels etc.)

General Ledger
• Ledger processing up to Balance Sheet
• Monthly administering of the Cash Book and Bank Reconciliations

Stock
• Valuation of Stock – Costing

Accounts Receivable
• Monitoring of exports- debtor and follow up of payment, calculation of profit/loss

Cash and Bank
• Administering of daily cash flow
• Administering and reconciliation of the foreign bank accounts
(Euro, Pound and Dollar accounts)

Payroll
• Overseeing of the Wages Pay-run
• Administering the monthly Tour Guides salary
• Pension Fund reconciliation and payment
• Tax year preparation

Other
• Preparation of annual audits
• Annual Budget preparation

Salary : R25 000 to R30 000 CTC depending on experience.
