Qualification:

BCom Degree in Financial Accounting



Skills & Experience:

Minimum 3 – 5 years’ commercial experience

Pastel Evolution experience advantageous



Job Description:

Ensure the processing and producing of daily invoices and accurate statements.

Take control of the capturing of inventory and all customs related charges.

Ensure that the supplier invoices for payments are correct and authorize creditor’s payments.

Actively co-ordinate activities with the director to ensure policies and reporting requirements are adhered to.

Ensure the weekly, monthly and annual cash forecasts are prepared.

Take hands on responsibility for the accurate compilation of the month end files as per the Directors’ specifications.

Ensure that the monthly management reports are prepared for the monthly management meetings.

Focus on PAYE, SDL and UIF returns and reconciliations, ensure they have been completed and ready for payment.

Focus on the monthly payroll and maintenance inclusive of salary calculations and ensuring the staff are paid on time.

Make sure that the stock take is accurately prepared and stock variances are validated and signed off.

Ensure that the annual budgets are prepared in-line with group requirements.

Hands on preparation of year-end audit file and assisting the auditors with year-end audits.
