Accountant position is up for grabs within an uplifting and inspiring environment. This role will suite an individual who has a passion for NPOs and is wanting to gain valuable experience. This role is to provide support to the financial accountant.



Qualification:

Completed SAICA articles

Completed SAIPA articles



Skills & Experience:

Property experience is preferable

MS Excel (Advanced)

Basic SQL knowledge



Job Description:

Assist divisions with the compilation and preparation of their budgets and forecasts.

Assist with managing the outputs of the accounts payable, receivable and utilities management functions.

Proactively monitor cash flow and prepare reliable forecasts.

Attend to scheduling of auditors.

Ensure that general ledger transactions are recorded in MDA in line with SA Income Tax Act requirements.

Review company policies as they relate to the finance department and motivate any amendments if necessary.

Review internal processes and suggest improvements which would assist the department/company in being more efficient/effective.

Assist with special projects, cost control initiatives and monitoring of company performance.

Ad hoc duties as required.

Reporting as required.

Conduct team meetings.
