Actuarial Analyst/Western Cape (Northern Suburbs)
Take responsibility for own development / exposure to all actuarial tasks
Compliance to standard turn-around times and budgets
Perform tasks according to standard procedures (manual, standards of practise, house views, etc.)
Perform / check tasks per fund as required:
Statutory and interim valuations
Fund interest declarations / Indices
Pension increase recommendations
Surplus related tasks
Special quotations
IAS19 valuations
Section 14 transfers
Conversion valuations
Consult and engage with key stakeholders including, finance, administration, consultants, product owners, investment specialists, intermediaries and clients.
Build and maintain strong relationships
Qualifications & Experience
Relevant Bachelor degree with 1 - 3 years actuarial work experience
Prior experience in an Employee Benefits and/or actuarial environment would be advantageous
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
