Purpose of Job

Manage the administration function of the Scientific Affairs department and provide support to the Scientific Affairs Executive on reporting and other functions. Ideally suited for someone with RA/ QA Admin experience in an pharma environment/ similar

ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee and implement all administration for the scientific affairs department. This includes database management, filing, archiving, courier services etc.
• Maintain the electronic document management system (EDMS)
• Ensure all electronic and physical filing is done accurately and in compliance with regulatory and/or quality assurance standards
• Manage the change control database and/or any related administrative duties for the quality assurance department, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Implement administrative projects as required by the department
• Manages all administrative activities required for registration and maintenance of pharmaceutical product dossiers with local and foreign regulatory authorities
• Checks invoices and arrange for payment.
• Monitor expenses in line with the allocated budget and update the Scientific Affairs Executive on a regular basis.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Certificate or Diploma in general office administration preferred
• More than 5 years’ administrative experience gained in a regulatory or quality assurance environment
• Staff management experience of not less than 2 years
• Exposure to the pharmaceutical industry
• Excellent computer skills which includes working on electronic databases, as well as a good knowledge of software packages such as Word and Excel.
• Good knowledge and proven application of administration processes, systems and practices.
