Legal Advisor / Claims Handler

Brief description

The position of Legal Advisor consists of being responsible for providing legal advice and legal services to LEXcorp clients and administering their legal expense Insurance policies.

Competency Profile

Outputs

• Enquiries, attend to telephonic claims lodged, and provide legal services for legal questions posed by LEXcorp clients
• Attend to managing referrals to panel attorneys and to the management of the litigation process on behalf of LEXcorp clients
• Report on legal services provided
• Capture complaints and enquiries on the customer management system
• Taxation of service provider bills in terms of the applicable policy tariff

Minimum Qualifications and requirements
• LLB degree, Admission as an attorney
• One-two years post admission experience will be an added advantage
