A Systems Operations Specialist is required to join the team of a supply chain solutions company based in Hilton. The successful candidate would have to have a thorough understanding of both agricultural & supply chain industries. They would need to be capable of managing & operating supply-chain software systems, such as FREDD Logistic to ensure smooth operations of the entire value chain.

REQUIREMENTS

• A degree/ diploma in Agriculture
• 1-2 years experience in a similar role
• 6 sigma/ LEAN management skills (advantageous)
• Financial & business acumen
• Computer Literate
• Excellent networking skills
• Strong negotiation; cooperation & conflict management skills
• Ability to interpret data & information
• Ability to work independently
• Strong verbal & written communication skills
• Willingness to travel (Southern Africa)

ROLE

• Manage software & system operations 
• Handle & visualize data for presentations & analysis
• Perform complex data analysis with the aim of improving operational efficiencies
• Identify weakness needing attention & opportunities available for exploitation
• Monitor & test software systems
• Collaborate with service providers to ensure effective support for systems & software
• Develop training manuals & protocols & carry out training
• Develop & maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the value chain
• Reporting on technical software & system matters
