An exciting opportunity exists for a well seasoned Air Freight Manager for one of our well established clients within the freight & logistics sector.

Requirements:
Relevant Degree or Diploma
knowledge of the International Airfreight industry and sales processes
10 years relevant experience of which 5 years managing an airfreight function

Responsibilities:
Increase market share and deliver the growth strategy for the Airfreight division.
Increase revenue through the identification of opportunities for growing current client business to achieve sales targets and results.
Facilitating the creation of airfreight forwarding solutions
Management of the forwarding life cycle from inception to completion, placing particular emphasis on relevance, efficiency and effectiveness.
Coordinate air RIB solutions (Groupage, Handovers, etc.)
Ensuring consistent and competitive pricing agreements in conjunction with calculation of cost structures, administering and maintaining the airfreight schedules whilst taking cognisance of buying and selling trends
Lead the Airfreight team through coaching, developing and motivating subordinates including follow-up of team and individual performance against targets and objectives aligned with overall company strategy.
