We have an opportunity available for a Developer based in Blouberg. We are looking for an aspiring developer who is willing to grow with us.
Duties will include (but not limited to)
• Internal development and implementing quality code changes required by management (development).
• Analyse, document and test data to a specified timescales
• Internal Liaison along with Operations executive representing LIPCO Business in instances where:
- Meetings in respect of system development is requested
- Software project launches
• Designing, maintaining and implementing website coding architecture and new features as required.
• Coding for the creation of new and maintenance of existing websites
• Some level of back-end development will be required
• Proposing website solutions as required
• Follow intellectual property guidelines for the various brands

Inherent requirements for the above-mentioned position will therefore be the following:

Qualification, Skills and Experience
• Degree or equivalent tertiary qualification with a computer science major from a recognized college or University.
• MCSD certification will be advantageous
• Minimum of 3+ year’s commercial experience in developing software.
• Development experience in Microsoft technologies (Advantage)
• Must be multi-skilled and / or willing to learn and apply new technologies and languages (Advantage)?
• Good communicator with a positive attitude that partakes within a team environment.
• Dynamic individual that is comfortable with change.
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and contribute in a meaningful way.

Technically, this job might be for you if you have experience in:
• Net Framework, .Net Core, C#,
• Web technologies: HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript
• MS SQL Server, SSRS, SSAS
• Entity framework
• Windows and web services - moving to a micro services architecture.
• Documentation: User requirements, functional specification and change control.
• Source control: Team Foundation Server

Advantageous:
• System analysis and design as a back-end developer.
• Xamarin development \ MDM experience
• MVC
