Our client in Cape Town is looking for an Analyst Programmer to join their team. You will responsible for the following:

• Define new sub-architectures and patterns
• Design of Service components based on functional specifications
• Development of functional as well as non-functional tests for above
• Participation in design reviews
• Document new sub-architectures and patterns
• Workshop Functional Requirements with the Business Analysts in order to fully understand the business requirements
• Workshop Technical Specifications with the Architects in order to fully understand the technical specifications
• Software development in accordance with specifications and agreed timescales
• Work with the Quality Assurance team to ensure the smooth transfer of code from development to QA

Requirements:
• IT Related Degree/ Diploma
• Minimum 8 years application development experience
• Exceptional working experience in C#, .NET, OO Analysis and Development, WCF, UML, Design patterns, MS SQL Server, WPF, XAML, Entity Framework and MVC
• Experience in Ajax, jQuery, Agile Methodologies and SOAP
• Must be able to work within a team environment
• Must have excellent communication skills and must be able to work under pressure
