A leading provider in financial technology across multiple industries, is looking for an application support analyst to complement their team. Their perfect candidate must be customer focused, have a history of working independently, possess good problem-solving skills and the ability to think out of the box.

Job Description:

Responsible for the planning application system upgrades, installation of new releases, and migration to new systems.
Provide support to clients and investigate data discrepancies and applications errors.
Propose modifications and enhancements to existing applications to improve their functionality.
Write specifications for business requirements and design IT Systems and components that meet these requirements. Ensuring quality, efficiency, compatibility with existing IT systems and networks.
Work with client technical teams to develop, migrate and debug application issues.
Knowledge of customers’ environments to assist support consultants and service teams in better serving clients.
Participate in customer requested meetings on site or via phone.
Working directly with teams to ensure that technical issues are resolved as expediently as possible.
Know and use all key customer resolution, and architectural resolution tools across all service groups.

Qualifications:

B Degree or Diploma in IT
IT Infrastructure library (ITIL) Certification

Skills and Experience:

Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Application Support role.
Exposure to financial services industry is essential.
Experience querying and working with relational databases, particularly MS SQL Server.
Experience installing, configuring or supporting business applications, with history in programming languages.
Competence in Microsoft operating systems, Office products, Internet Explorer, and Microsoft Project.
Microsoft SQL Server - Setup, Configuration & TSQL
Investigation and diagnostic skills
