Purpose of the Job:
Responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in assigned market. Support distributors and provides leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values. Establishes Relationship with Distributor to expand the customer base in the Assigned area and contributes to the development of training and educational programs for distributors and clients.

Main Functions:
• RSM is our company representative with distributors in assigned territories.
• Support distributors with their market by identifying and providing competitor’s information.
• Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
• Responsible for the performance and development of the Assigned Territory.
• Prepares action plans by distributor for effective search of sales leads and prospects.
• Initiates and coordinates with distributor’s development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
• Provides timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.
• Maintains accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports.
• Support and suggest a pricing scheme for some businesses where competitor’s information is known.
• Support Distributors and conducts proposal presentations and RFP responses.
• Meets regional sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analysing variances; initiating corrective actions.
• Maintains and expands customer base by counselling distributors; building and maintaining rapport with key customers; identifying new customer opportunities.
• Collaborates with Distributors to develop sales strategies to improve market share in all product lines.
• Recommends product lines by identifying new product opportunities, and/or product, and service changes; surveying consumer needs and trends; tracking competitors.
• Support distributors to accurately forecast annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams.
• Support and develops specific plans to ensure revenue growth in all company’s products with distributors.
• Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.
• Holds regular meeting with distributors for proper communication.

Requirements:
• University degree in Engineer/Economics/Marketing/comparable knowledge
• At least 3 years working experience

PREFERRED SKILLS:
• Must be a self-starter and achievement oriented person
• Must be able to demonstrate sales record (3+ years) at a high level of achievement
• Experience working within medical device industry is an asset
• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent work experience) business, marketing and sales or related field of study.
• Superior analytical and broad-based business management skills. Innovative and creative thinker.
• Analytical skill set, strong presentation skills, ability to interact with any level within an organization
• Ability to self-motivate and multi-task and work independently or within a team

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

Successful Candidate will be requested to report here in Dubai from time to time, depending on the need. He will also be expected to travel within South Africa and future country assignments.

The Visa and Final Interview cost (Hotel, Taxi, food) which will be held here in Dubai will be covered by us. Initial will be via SKYPE, then the final will be by panel composed of our Japanese Managing Director, Department Manager for Sales. He may also be asked for a simple sales presentation.
Upon selection, candidate will be asked to sign an offer letter which will have a clause mentioning that he has to stay employed with us not shorter than 2 years otherwise all expenses incurred by us during the recruitment process will be charged to his account. There will also be a confidentiality clause that he is required to sign and a clause mentioning that upon resignation, he cannot join any of our competitors for at least 2 years from the date of his contract termination.
