4X AREA SUPERVISORS – TIER 3 CHANNEL
The purpose of the role is to implement the Tier 3, Main Market strategy at retail level. This is to ensure Targeted Coverage, Sales, Distribution and Retail Presence and Objectives are met.
Key Responsibilities:
• To lead and supervise an efficient and effective sales and merchandising team through on-the-job training, motivation, coaching and staff development in order to deliver distribution, and retail communication objectives
• Consistent development and updating of the retail universe Data base.
• Setting and achieving of sales, numeric distribution targets and in store communication objectives.
• On time reporting and management of the all Administrations tasks.
• Manage the replenishment of stock, POS, Merchandising material etc. on a daily/weekly basis at all Sub-D stores.
• The management and implementation of promotions where applicable.
• Address any and rectify any trade related issues or queries at store level.
• Account management (retail focused) & Sub-D / HFS Development

Position Requirements:
• A minimum of a matric and a relevant tertiary qualification from a recognized institution
• 3 - 5 years FMCG Sales experience, 2 - 3 years at Supervisory Level with direct reports is a requirement.
• Responsible for and have experience in outlet universe development, setting and achieving of coverage, numeric distribution targets and retail communication objectives
• A comprehensive and clear understanding of the HFS and or Main Market
• People management and leadership competencies are critical
• Knowledge and experience in dealing with Employee Relations
• Experience and ability to performance manage a team
• Prior working experience, knowledge and skills in managing CRM systems and the implementation thereof
• Proficient in all Microsoft Applications (intermediate to advance Excel skills)
• Reliable own transport with an Unendorsed Code 08 license and willingness to travel
• Ability to manage the implementation of numerous Brand and Principal initiatives simultaneously
