A vacancy exists for an Armed Reaction Officer based at one of our Casino's. This position will report to the Supervisor Armed Reaction Officer and Contracts Manager. The main purpose of the position is to offer the armed reaction service to the Casino.

Key Performance Areas: (Not totally inclusive)

* Carry out patrols in dedicated areas
* To do armed response duties on alarm activations and panics received
* Take preventative actions towards suspicious activity in the area
* Maintain radio contact with control room and reporting suspicious behaviour in the area
* Escorting clients and VIP's as and when required
* Must be able to work shifts / extended hours as and when required

Experience and Skills Required:

* Must be Psira Grade A - registered and accredited
* 1-2 Years' experience as an Armed Reaction Officer in the Private Security Industry - Casino an advantage
* Firearm competent in all firearms for business use
* Knowledge of the Firearm Act is required
* Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential
* Must be physically fit and have tactical shooting ability

Compulsory Recruitment Requirements:

* Matric certificate or equivalent
* Psira Grade A - Armed Reaction
* Valid unendorsed code 8 drivers licence
* No criminal record
* Contactable references essential
* Must be fluent in English and Afrikaans (speaking, reading, writing)
* Only applicants who live in the Krugersdorp area will be considered for the position

Monthly salary of R11,000.00 CTC NOT negotiable
