MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
Engineering Degree BSc or BEng - Industrial/Mech/Elec or BTech - Industrial/Mech/Elec from a recognised Tertiary institution.
In posession of or studying towards an Asset or Technology Management qualification will be advantageous.

OTHER/BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCE
We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, solution oriented and customer focused individual with, the ability to manage projects effectively and work cooperatively within a team as well as independently, has proven time management, planning and prioritisation skills and who enjoys investigating and solving system challenges and providing alternative solutions.
Have excellent communication skills, both oral & written and the ability to handle conflict.
Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Proven asset management experience at a strategic level with knowledge of ISO 55000 being beneficial.
Expert knowledge of maintenance planning and scheduling processes and the importance of EAMS systems in daily operations.
Ability to assist sites strategically with regards to Asset Care best practices and do coaching where improvement requires.
Ability to engage with Asset Care stakeholders at all levels.
Continuous improvement driver.

EXPERIENCE & FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES
Minimum 5 years in the heavy industry related to plant maintenance, with minimum 3 years maintenance management / administration experience.
Strong leadership, decision making and interpersonal skills, systems driver, strong computer skills including EAMS (preferably On Key), compelling analytical capabilities.
Ability to see the bigger picture. Out of the box thinker, good understanding of Asset Management principles.

DUTIES
Drive Asset Care strategy through empowering of site planning resources by providing appropriate tools & measurements to ensure alignment with central strategy & best practices.
Ensure Asset Care strategies, standards and procedures are implemented and embedded throughout national and international operations.
Spec & oversee development of Asset Care reports and dashboards based on central and site requirements.
Make recommendations by continuously searching for ways of improving business processes & best practices (sharing lessons learnt between sites, investigate industry trends, etc.).
Drive initiatives to improve data integrity and visibility in support of the Asset Care function.
Ensure sound maintenance planning & scheduling standards being applied in the Group
Participate in development and training efforts of site resources.
Liaise and manage external consultants / advisors to the Asset Care function.
Customer support (sites, requires international travel from time to time).
