A top, state of the art, luxurious 5 star hotel in Cape Town is looking for a dynamic, highly professional individual to successfully look after events and functions of the Banqueting Department which includes providing support to the banqueting staff. The aim is for there to be smooth running functions that the guests leave with a positive experience. Assistance with daily operations of course include maintaining high service excellence levels.

Requirements:

• Strong preference for a recognised 3 year qualification in Hospitality Management
• Minimum of two years staff management experience in a senior capacity including knowledge of disciplinary processes and procedures
• Minimum of two years relevant experience in a 5 star hotel
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Must have working knowledge of Materials Control and Micros
