A brilliant job opportunity exists for the right candidate in the Water & Sanitation Division for a well known company in the Western Cape .The ideal candidate must be a driven individual and be able to work in a team. This position will be on a 5 year contract.

Candidate must have B Eng. or B.Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent, Pr Eng or Pr Tech, Windows Office software, knowledge of FIDIC, SABS standards, OHS Act and NEMA. Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years experience in concrete dam construction and 5 years experience in Environmental Compliance Audits and NEMA/Contract Administration.

Responsibilities

• Implement Engineer’s quality control plan and monitor Contractor’s quality control plan.

• Site audits, inspections, quality control testing.

• Measurement of completed work.

• Compile as-built data in accordance with the Employer's standard requirements

•Assist Resident Engineer with day to day administration of the project

Preference will be given to qualifying AA candidates.
