Assistant Farm Manager (Poultry)

Educational Requirements:
Matric
Relevant Qualification

Experience Requirements:
Must have at least 3 - 5 years’ relevant and biological experience in animal production (poultry)
Must have strong maintenance skills
Must have strong technical & mechanical knowledge & skills
Must be able to manage staff effectively
Must be able to assist with multiple sites
Must be computer literate
Must be well spoken and able to communicate in English fluently
Own Transport & Valid license

Responsibilities:
Assisting the farm manager where needed
Day to day management of laying & rearing farm
Staff management
Stock control
Workshop management
Conducting general maintenance
Able to troubleshoot & resole technical / mechanical issues
Planning of staff and maintenance with as little down time as possible
General administrative duties
Meeting deadlines

Additional information:
Salary R15 000 – R25 000 Gross per month + Vehicle
Able to work extended hours when needed
Able to work every second weekend
Pro- active & detailed
