Required Qualifications / Experience
• Minimum Qualification: CA (SA) + 1 year experience
• Accounting Package: SAP

The candidate will need the following attributes:
• Passionate about financial management and analytical, with eye for details
• Technically up to date with IFRS and sound knowledge of treasury cash management, taxation and the Companies Act, expert on consolidations
• Skilled communicator, both oral and written at all levels
• Have entrepreneurial and sound business skills
• Experienced in building a competent and motivated team of finance staff through confident and caring leadership, counselling and delegation
• Ability to carry out various ad hoc duties as required from time to time
• Will entail an overview of national properties including consolidation and financial reporting ad commentary, finance systems management, maintenance and upgrades
• Standardisation of procedures
• Benchmarking, accounting policies, technical input and assistance (emerging issues re IFRS, Tax and Company Act etc.)
• Balance sheet reviews
• Input on budget and 5 year plans
