This position requires the skills of a highly focused, driven individual with a passion for Cost Management. This position is ideal for a SAIPA qualified individual that would like to focus on Cost and Management Accounting rather than Financial Accounting. However, they would consider a National Diploma and combined with relevant work experience. Qualification:

Matric – non-negotiable

NDip / BTech in Cost and Management Accounting

Or

BCom in Accounting (or similar) with relevant experience

Or

Newly qualified SAIPA / SAICA Clerks with a keen interest in going the Management Accounting route

Job Description:

Assist with:

The production of management accounts as well as month-end closing of said management accounts

Prepare month-end and year-end files

Create relevant reporting to support decision-making in the business and drive efficiency

Prepare annual budgets

Duties will include, but not be limited to, the following:

Produce monthly management accounts

Report key business numbers, routing and non-routine

Variance analysis

Margin analysis

Assist various other departments in interpreting their numbers

Some ad-hoc duties relevant to payments and other finance-related tasks
