JOB DESCRIPTION

Assist with the receiving and dispatching of stock to and from regions / technicians / customers

Completion of delivery notes.
Prepare stock requirements timeously
Keep track of stock (notify manager of any shortages well in advance)
Accountable for stock issued
Maintain effective stock control at all times
Complete form of stock received from suppliers and forward to Stores Manager
Administer all paperwork and delivery notes as per defined procedures
Ensure Minimum and Maximum stock thresholds are maintained at all times
Participate in stock count at the end of the month.
Loading and/or unloading of stock.
Carrying and/or moving goods.
Collecting of cash in the case of a C.O.D. sale or accepting written orders.

Reporting

-Produce various reports (as requested by Store Manager)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

2-3 years stores or warehouse experience (preferably in the cabling industry).
Be able to work unsupervised and meet set deadlines
Good communication skills

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Be methodical and ensure operating procedures for the stores are enforced on all levels
Well organized and focused on service delivery
Good interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure, prioritize and multitask
Self-motivated
Professional and well groomed

Qualification

Matric or equivalent
Driver’s License
