Distributors of steel in any form. Steel pipes, tubing, roofing , stainless steel and fabrication of steel.

Remuneration:  

R 6000 – R 8000

Requirements: 

-           Matric

-           Relevant Diploma an advantage

-           Product Knowledge:

-           Steel

-           Steel related products

-           Hardware

-           Experience in working in a yard in a Steel environment

-           At least 2-3 years in a similar role

-           Dispatching goods

-           House Keeping

-           Stock takes

-           Occupational Health & Safety

-           Operational rules, processes and procedures

-           Customer Satisfaction

-           The assistance of cash customers in the loading of goods purchased

-           Checking of trucks with goods entering and exiting the yard

-           The correct receiving of goods entering the yard

-           The correct loading of goods on trucks and ensuring paper work reflects what is loaded on the    truck

-           The supervision of the unloading of trucks 

-           The supervision of the loading of trucks

-           Physical loading and unloading of trucks when required to do so 

-           Reporting of deviations when it occurs 

-           Controlling of stock levels

-           The prevention and reporting of damage and theft of stock

-           Assistance with stock taking

-           Preparation of stock takings 

-           Familiarise yourself with all policies and procedures related to your job and keeping to them at    all times

-           Any other duties assigned to you by your manager or a manager who is authorised to give the     instruction
